BTS x FILA

Upon FILA's announcement of BTS as their new global brand ambassadors, I took the lead in orchestrating a billboard campaign scheduled to launch for the new year. My central role was designing compelling digital billboards strategically positioned in and around Times Square. As a gesture of appreciation to fans for their steadfast support, FILA unveiled the first campaign photo as a teaser.

The focus was on crafting a visually striking concept for the billboards, ensuring they complemented BTS's global superstar status. Additionally, I took charge of creating dynamic animations that seamlessly blended FILA's brand essence with the energetic spirit of BTS. This project showcased my ability to translate brand ambassadorship into a visually cohesive and engaging campaign, marking a significant milestone in my graphic design portfolio.

In crafting the animated billboards for FILA featuring BTS, I featured a galaxy theme and the color purple to resonate with BTS's distinctive aesthetic. The galaxy theme, with its cosmic and ethereal elements, was chosen to encapsulate the global reach and popularity of BTS. This theme not only aligns with the group's universal appeal but also adds a touch of mystique and allure to the visuals.

The use of purple, a signature color associated with BTS and their fandom, ARMY, served multiple purposes. Beyond reflecting the group's brand identity, purple is symbolic of creativity, passion, and unity — core elements of BTS's artistic ethos. By incorporating these elements into the billboards, I aimed to visually connect BTS with their dedicated fanbase and create an immersive experience that resonates with the group's unique and vibrant aesthetic. The result was a harmonious blend of cosmic themes and purple hues, capturing BTS's unparalleled style and creating a visual narrative for the campaign.
